About The Area

Essex & East Anglia region has become immensely popular due to the close proximity to London, over the decades the area has become one of the most thriving & dynamic parts of the United Kingdom with large multi national companies setting up their businesses in the region, they have thrived due to the local workforce, who can enjoy this picturesque & stunning part of the country.

Essex became an essential part of the route from Norfolk and Suffolk to London, making Essex an important staging post along the much-used road, as can be seen from the numerous inns and hostelries which served the area.

Essex grew in popularity during Victorian times when a rail link to London was built. In the late 19th century, Kings Seeds put Essex firmly on the map as a pioneering centre for seed growing and for the production of vegetable and flower seeds, notably sweet peas. The A12 was built in the 1960’s which diverted the ever-increasing volume of traffic, thereby relieving the pressure on the area.

Essex is ideally placed for links to the East of England:

  • Excellent road links with the A12 Norwich to London
  • London Stansted International Airport
  • Close to London
  • Fast railway services into London Liverpool Street
  • Chelmsford City
  • Colchester is the most Historic town and ex-capital of England
  • Coastal resorts in Frinton-on -Sea, Clacton-on-Sea. Southend-on-Sea
  • The historic market town of Norwich
  • Easy access to Junction 28 of the M25

Excellent schooling is available for all ages throughout Essex & East Anglia. Brilliant locations for commuters into London with a thriving shopping, nightlife, cafe, bar, and restaurant scenes.

There are plenty of supermarkets to upmarket delicatessens, old-fashioned independent fishmongers and butchers offering local produce.

Freeport Designer shopping village is located in Braintree offering not only designer clothing but also a multiplex cinema, public swimming pool, and a selection of restaurants.

There is plenty going on in Essex for all ages. Recognised globally due to the Only Way Is Essex, a location truly on the map.
